Sandbridge Technologies Secures $19.5M in Series B First Closing

Leading Edge Solution for Multi-Standard / Multi-Function Wireless Devices Attracts Top Financial and Strategic Investors

White Plains, N.Y., May 14th, 2003 – Sandbridge Technologies, Inc., a leading U.S. based fabless semiconductor company focused on Software-Defined-Radio (SDR) solutions for multi-standard and multi-function wireless terminals, announced today that it has raised $19.5 million in a Series B venture investment.

Sandbridge’s first round investors, Bessemer Venture Partners, Atlas Venture, and Columbia Capital, all participated in the B round. The new investors are Doughty Hanson Technology Ventures, who will join the Board, Infineon Ventures and China Development Industrial Bank. The investors bring extensive wireless industry experience and global market
relationships in North America, Europe and Asia.
